John Udelhofen
Chairman and CEO

John Udelhofen is a co-founder of Laurus. John's responsibilities include the overall direction and performance of the company, coupled with the management of the central holding company services to the business groups. John's experience includes over 26 years of entrepreneurship in middle market companies in a broad range of businesses. He has worked in and managed start ups, fast growing companies, and turnarounds. John has expertise in acquisitions, mergers, financial reporting, operations, automated systems, budgeting and planning, tax administration, risk, and human resource management.

John Udelhofen received his MBA from the Lake Forest Graduate School of
Management in 1995, a BGS in Computer Science from Roosevelt University
of Chicago in 1990, and a BBA in Accounting from Loyola University of Chicago in 1980. John was inducted into the Chicago Area Entrepreneur Hall of Fame in 2007. He was a finalist for both the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year and Illinois Technology Association CEO of the Year in 2008.

John also holds a CPA in the state of Illinois and is a member of the board for First Step Foundation. John enjoys teaching on a variety of business subject matters and is mentor to a number of entrepreneurs.



Brian Wolfe
Partner, Software Solutions

Brian is a co-founder of Laurus.  Brian’s responsibilities include the overall direction and performance of the Software Solutions group.  Brian has also been, and continues to be, instrumental in the overall growth of Laurus’ Systems Integration group.  Brian’s experience includes over 18 years focusing on entrepreneurial and middle market companies at the leading edge of the technology sector and healthcare. Brian Wolfe has expertise in sales, marketing, operations, and product/solutions development, as well the architecture and engineering of systems, storage, networks, and software products.    

Brian Wolfe received his MS in Computer Science from DePaul University in 1996, and his BS in Computer Science from University of Michigan, 1988.

Brian is the chairman of Sun Microsystems Education Market Advisory Board and a member of Sun Microsystems Software Partner Council. Brian is also a member of the advisory board for the School of Computer Science, Telecommunications and Information Systems at DePaul University. Brian Wolfe’s technological accomplishments include the development of an early TCP/IP-based distributed medical imaging protocol “Simple Image Transfer Protocol” (SITP) for UNIX and VMS systems at the Medical Imaging Research Center of Henry Ford Hospital in 1989. Brian Wolfe’s paper on SITP was accepted and presented at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in 1989.  He is a member of Vistage, the Greater Chicago Chapter of HIMSS, and the Society for Information Management.



Mike Clesceri
Partner, Systems Integration and Vice President of Marketing

Mike Clesceri is Partner Executive for the Systems Integration group and Vice President of Marketing for Laurus Technologies.  In his role, he leads the sales and delivery teams for the systems integration practice, which offers business-focused technology solutions for enterprise customers. He has instilled a strong sense client service and business focus, which has led to a highly loyal and referenceable customer base. Under his sales leadership, Laurus has been recognized as one of the fastest growing IT providers in the country.

Prior to joining Laurus, Mike Clesceri was an accomplished sales professional with Open Business Systems, a value-added reseller based in Chicago.  His previous experience includes product marketing roles at DuPont Publishing and various S/W development and systems engineering roles with Intergraph, Imagitex, and Scitex.  Mike Clesceri has also worked as a consultant in the retail and printing industries.

Mike has a business certificate from University of Illinois at Chicago and is a Director on two Boards and several vendor advisory councils.



Dave Durbin
Partner, Business Development


Dave Durbin is a co-founder of Laurus. His responsibilities include industry-focused business development, market research, acquisition activity, as well as the development and management of client executives that are charged with selling all Laurus solutions.

Dave Durbin has been on the entrepreneurial fast-track his entire career. Beginning with an independent contract consulting engagement to the present, he has delivered 20 years of systems and software consulting to a wide variety of businesses in several capacities. His roles have included executive management, board level, operational management, technical management, system and network administration, software development and business process engineering. Areas of expertise include human performance systems, process engineering, leadership technique, system, storage, network, and software architecture and engineering. 

Dave Durbin has his BS in Mathematics from Mount Marty College in Yankton South Dakota and has graduate level credits in Computational Mathematics at Arizona State University. Dave has completed UIC’s Certificate of Business Administration program, received a Certificate in Telecommunications at DePaul University as well as in Total Quality Management training. He has also been trained extensively in systems, networks, software, and storage.


Mike Kerrigan
Vice President Business Applications


Mike Kerrigan started his career with 17 years of practical, real-world logistics expertise as the COO for a Global Japanese company.

In 1994, Mike Kerrigan was part of one of the first mid-sized SAP implementations in the US. As one of the key client team members, he was responsible for implementing materials management and production planning, including all core SAP modules and strategic corporate functionality using SAP’s Profitability Analysis. His company became one of SAP’s top client success stories in 1994. More importantly, SAP used his company as the top reference site for future customers. The implementation methodology used on his project eventually became the SAP ASAP methodology.

In 1995, Mr. Kerrigan was hired to create a middle market focused SAP implementation consulting practice for a Midwest-based consultancy. He overachieved in this role, creating a 250 person, highly successful SAP implementation group that won the prestigious SAP Partner of the Year Award for three consecutive years. Over the last 15 years, Mike Kerrigan has been the executive in charge of helping over 100 clients go live on SAP. In 2001 Mike was the partner in charge of ERP solutions with a global consulting and operations staff of 700 people.

Mike continued his SAP implementation successes for the last 15 years across all major industry sectors. His combination of real world logistics/management experience and SAP Global expertise place him in an unrivalled position of value to our clients.


Tony Hotko
Vice President, Talent Solutions

As the consummate entrepreneur with over 19 years of experience, Tony Hotko's vision and drive have propelled the growth and expansion of startup companies and business units. Tony has been directly responsible for the overall vision, success, and strategic growth of Laurus Talent Solutions, Diamond Consulting, and GravitexSoftware.com.

As VP of Laurus Talent Solutions, Tony is responsible for the vision and growth of the newly established business unit, which provides high quality talent and the strategy necessary to ensure that it is leveraged in the most effective way possible. Collaborating with clients, LTS optimizes talent resources to execute the most successful and cost-effective IT projects.

As founder and CEO of Diamond Consulting, Tony’s passion to succeed drove the company from a startup, to a small consulting practice, and finally into a $5 million, highly competitive IT staffing solutions firm with an 18-year history.

In 1998, Tony launched another startup company, Gravitex Software.com. As Founder and Visionary, Tony was able to build and inspire a team of highly skilled software developers to focus on an Internet-based knowledge management suite of products. Tony was also able to secure $1 million in seed funding for proof of concept.

Tony holds certificates in Project Management (1994) and Production & Inventory and Control (1991) from DePaul University and Computer Programming from the Computer Learning Center of Chicago (1990). He is a CPIM (Certified Production & Inventory Control Manager) from APICS (American Production & Inventory Control Society), 1993.
