ACCOUNT MANAGER (Networking Solutions)

The Account Manager will have sales responsibility for our Systems Integration Business Unit for various verticals covering the Illinois territory. We are currently seeking individuals with a sales background in network solutions. Sales experience into either enterprise space or the mid-market segment are both highly desirable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

-          Minimum of 5 years experience selling Networking Solutions locally ideally in a solutions-based sales environment

-          Demonstrated success meeting sales targets selling networking products and solutions in Illinois the last 3 years

-          Solid experience selling Cisco, Juniper, Enterasys, HP ProCurve, and/or 3Com products and services

-          Must have sold large complex solutions to commercial end users including selling into large, complex accounts with both individual and team responsibilities

-          Must be able to identify and qualify sales opportunities, apply knowledge of customers' business and establish a value proposition that results in sales. 

-          Must also act as the representative for other Business Units, identifying opportunities and introducing the appropriate resources necessary to complete the transaction.

-          Demonstrate an understanding of the technical and business challenges faced by this market, and a proven ability to develop and deliver solutions.

-          Must also be a team player, working closely with our other business units and vendors

-          Must be able to manage key executive relationships

-          Has a strong awareness of the key industry/market issues and trends
