Position Title: Junior Java Developer

Description: The Junior Java Developer will be responsible in supporting our Solutions Architect in the programming, development and maintenance of a customer portal service. The individual must demonstrate strong working knowledge of Java development and application frameworks.

Skills:

• 1-3 years of solid Java/J2EE development experience, both front-end and back-end
• Knowledge and experience of EJB, Servlets and JSP
• Experience in SQL databases
• Must have worked with either single-tier or open source application frameworks (Struts, Spring, JSF, Hibernate)
• Prior development experience working in intranet or public access portal environments a huge plus
• Knowledgeable in development methodologies
• Strong analytical skills and demonstrates logical thought-process in decision making
• Good communication and client interfacing skills
• Able to follow and execute directions given in a timely manner
• Possesses commitment to excel and a professional demeanor

Experience: 1-3 years

Education: BS/BA in Computer Science or similar
