ACCOUNT MANAGER (Systems Integration)

The Account Manager will have sales responsibility for our Systems Integration Business Unit for enterprise-level customers in Illinois. We are currently seeking individuals with a solutions-based sales background in the infrastructure space.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

  • Minimum of 5 years experience selling EMC (Storage/Backup & Recovery/Archiving) in Illinois ideally in a solutions-based sales environment
  • Successful track record meeting sales targets in the last 3 years
  • Must have sold large complex solutions to enterprise-level customers including selling into large, complex accounts with both individual and team responsibilities.
  • Must be able to identify and qualify sales opportunities, apply knowledge of customers' business and establish a value proposition that results in sales. 
  • Must also act as the representative for other Business Units, identifying opportunities and introducing the appropriate resources necessary to complete the transaction.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the technical and business challenges faced by this market, and a proven ability to develop and deliver solutions.
  • Must also be a team player, working closely with our other business units and vendors
  • Must be able to manage key executive relationships
  • Has a strong awareness of the key industry/market issues and trends
  • Prior experience selling for an EMC value-added reseller highly desirable
