ACCOUNT MANAGER (Professional Services)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sales responsibility for Professional Services for various verticals in the Midwest, with specific focus in the Illinois market
  • Responsible for lead development and new client acquisition particularly around professional services offerings
  • Must be able to identify and qualify sales opportunities, apply knowledge of customers' business and establish a value proposition that results in sales. 
  • Must also act as the representative for other Business Units, identifying opportunities and introducing the appropriate resources necessary to complete the transaction.
  • The individual will demonstrate an understanding of the technical and business challenges faced by this market, and a proven ability to develop and deliver solutions.
  • Must also be a team player, working closely with our other business units and vendors
  • Candidate must be able to manage key executive relationships.
  • Has a strong awareness of the key industry/market issues and trends.

REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated success in professional services sales for Midwest-based territories, particularly IL, WI and MN
  • Proven track record in hunting and developing new business at the enterprise and commercial levels particularly in areas of professional services, project delivery and staff augmentation
  • Must be technically oriented with a consultative sales approach with the ability to grasp the entire LTI services portfolio
  • Ability to form trusted relationships with clients and vendors
  • Ability to develop and manage a complex selling strategy effectively, directing both internal and external resources
  • Able to work closely and effectively with other business unit stakeholders in Laurus
