Position Title: Solution Consultant
Business Unit: Software Practice
Practice: Identity Management

Position Description:

As part of our growing delivery team, Identity Management Senior Solution Consultant will be responsible for implementing customer solutions using Identity Management products. This position will be required to perform on-site work as part of an implementation team to perform a variety of technical tasks which include, but are not limited to, solutions design, architecture, requirements gathering, product installation, configuration, tuning, development, testing, debugging, operations, analysis, and documentation.

Identity Management Senior Solution Consultant will require on-site implementation of Identity Management Suite from various product vendors. Also requires development in Java or .NET, and an operational understanding of applications servers (Sun, Weblogic, WebSphere, or Tomcat), DBMS systems (Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, MySQL) and operating systems (UNIX, AIX, Windows 2003).

Identity Management Senior Solution Consultant will work closely with the Architect/Technical Lead and Project Manager and help manage project scope, schedule, status, and client deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Must have 3+ years of professional work experience as part of an enterprise software company. This should include experience in professional implementation/deployment of enterprise software.
  • Experience working with Java, C++, VB, or .NET.
  • Experience with one or more Application Servers (Sun, Weblogic, WebSphere, Tomcat).
  • A strong background with web environments both Windows and UNIX.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, FTP, Telnet, SMTP, and XML.
  • Must have knowledge about databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and writing SQL.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and a proven ability to successfully navigate and relate to varying levels of functional and technical personnel at customer sites.
  • Must be able and willing to travel (up to 50-75%) and perform duties at remote customer sites
Desired Skills/Abilities

  • Familiarity with Identity Management/Security concepts
  • Experience or Knowledge about Identity Management/Security solutions
  • Experience with QA duties is desirable (Usability Testing, Performance Testing, Automated Testing, Test Scripts, Test Cases and Test Plans)
  • Successful completion of software installation for multi-site Fortune 500 (and similar) organizations, preferably as part of a Services/Deployment team
  • Familiarity/fluency with commercial security applications or enterprise directories and experience with the monitoring/management/deployment of said products highly desirable
  • Experience or Knowledge about IBM Tivoli Identity Manager, Sun Identity Manager, Courion Identity Suite or Oracle Identity Manager
Education:

BS/MS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems
